Was pretty tough and we kids ran wild
but hurting old folks was frowned upon
Everyone I knew was white and always game for a fight
But no-one ever carried a knife

But things started going wrong when thousands of immigrants came along
No longer the streets you felt safe when on your own
Some were just take but not give, give me your money and we will let you live
So joining gangs was the normal thing

I worked with some and we got along but always knew it could go wrong
So was always on my guard
But that was the way back then, hit first and don't count up to ten
Or you'd be the one left on the ground.

It's honestly different now as I get on with almost all now but these new illegals are a different breed to me
I cant see or understand their views so the old worries are coming back and I do blame Theresa May for letting them all in whoever they are!
