A trip to the pub and then the bookies and it would be all gone in a couple of hours
How the Tories expect people to survive on the basic pension baffles me

I dunno if we could manage on the basic.
We were lucky enough to never have a mortgage, I had investmenta made for me when I was born from my gran, then my parents did the same for me, my wife parents made investments for her, we also made our own investments and Isas, I have my army and government pension so duz my wife, we also have private pensions.
This has cost quite a good bit of dosh to set up and leave it be.
We had property left us dwelling and commercial.
Let me tell you something, EVERYTHING went into a fund equally which my wife and old man set up when I was in the army in my name, my wifes name and both our kids names, the fund still exist after all these years.
My wife draws out the same every week irrespective of whether or not she spends it, puts any left over into a tin in the study and the littlunz raid it every week.
Basically, our kids have control over everything now, it is up to them to look after their own and do that which we did, IMPROVE on what you had given to you, they do not have mortgages either.
It has been said we should have left some to the littlunz, we say NO, we will not be here when the littlunz may really need something but we hope their parents will be to guide them through adult life.
Believe this, I use very little money on myself.

My youngest sister has a big pottery bowl she collects £2 coins in to pay for anything she needs cash to stop herself getting in debt to anyone MS.
Tight fisted to say the least as if she spots you putting your hand in your pocket and a £2 coin catches her attention you've had it lol.
You'll never see that again except in her bowl
