I know, but it's really took off here over the last years.

I don't mind buying little treats for the kids who dress up and come knocking. I buy chocolate bars now though....one year I bought loads of sticky sweets and lollies, that year hardly anyone came, so I ate them all myself. pale
So now if there is any chocolate over I can happily eat whats left.

Im going to my daughters as all the grandkids are dressing up for trick or treat. Im taking pics. They love it.

Personally I think its just another Americanism we have adopted.

Shame as Penny for the Guy doesn't exist anymore, I used to love that. Dressing up a Guy, and asking Penny for the Guy.

The little buggers won't knock on my door.
l look like a mix between Frankenstein and lggi Pop with a smattering of Keith Richards.
Not a pretty sight on a Halloweens night.

Horlicks was a comforting drink when you were a kid.....and if you were poorly Lucozade ...it used to be in a glass bottle with orange cellophane wrapped round it.

In Coventry we use two names for crumpets, pikelets is the other one, I detest them.

I bought a great big tin of Quality Street yesterday and am now in the process of sucking all of the ones with the soft centres out.
A big syringe full of mustard is going to fill them back up again.
I cannot wait to see the poor little buggers faces if they knock on my door.
