At the moment it's pi**ing down....I know this is Manchester but even for us this is ridiculous. Loads of fresh flood warnings this morning.
Driving home on Sunday night fields were like rivers....they have no time to drain before more rain arrives.

Weather men are now saying this air system (or whatever they call it) will stay over the UK till DECEMBER.

I looked at the BBC regional forecast this morning for where I shoot, it said rain.

I have been shooting, come home, had a snack, phoned dorta in law who shot there at 3pm and not one spot of rain.

Might as well stand for British bacon Company

My wife went out today and never switched on the TV for me.

I await her homecoming to clean me gun and shooting bootz.

Its true about how useless the weather forcasters are. Last week they said Wales would have heavy showers, cloud and drizzle....it was glorious all weekend.

They are regularly wrong, Syl.

Yes, last year was supposed to be a 'barbecue' summer...it was almost as bad as this one is turning out to be.

We managed one barby for some oldiz last year and now they are asking about this year.

We have told them not to set a date but just have one when and if a nice day comez along.

They love it and can shift some snap and booze.

We buy most the food and our dorta sendz some winez.

Sounds nice Major. I love the outside life when the weather is good.
Not struck on bbq's just cooking in and serving out is good. In Wales we have the sea on one side and the mountains on the other.
Sitting there after a meal with a glass of wine is heaven.
If we could rely on the weather I doubt I would ever go abroad again.
